Panic Attacks & Anxiety

Millions of people suffer from anxiety and are frequently prescribed drugs to control the condition.  Sadly, these medications merely suppress the symptoms rather than treat the cause.

The symptoms can include the following:

  • Dry Mouth

  • Heart racing

  • Stomach churning

  • Trembling

  • Sweaty hands

Unfortunately, after experiencing these symptoms people avoid the situations where they expect to feel anxious.  This however makes the situation worse and often leads to the development of phobias or extreme anxiety otherwise known as panic attacks.

Panic Attacks

In addition to the above symptoms a panic attack causes intense fear, dread and other responses which can mimic a heart attack such as:

  • Chest discomfort or pain

  • Shortness of breath

  • Palpitations and accelerated heart rate

  • Feelings of unsteadiness or faintness

  • Nausea

  • Choking sensations

  • Flushes or chills

  • Numbness or tingling

  • Trembling or shaking

  • Fear of loss of control

Panic attacks are often accompanied by:

  • A sense of imminent danger

  • A sense of impending doom

  • An urge to escape

Why is hypnotherapy so effective?

Anxiety and panic attacks are extremely treatable using hypnotherapy.

The subconscious mind stores our memories, our learned and conditioned responses and our beliefs.  It is the source of all anxiety and can be effectively altered using the power of hypnotherapy.
